Registration For ACET 2020 Begins; More Here
The Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) has invited applications for the Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) which will be held on February 29, 2020.
Candidates who clear the ACET exam become eligible as student members of ACI and start taking actuarial examinations at own pace. Students need to pass the Plus II examination to sit for the test.
The ACET on February 29, 2020 will be held on computer-based mode. For further information, students can visit the official website (www.actuariesindia.org).
Actuarial science is a discipline that applies mathematical and statistical techniques to Price, Value and assess risks in multiple areas such as insurance, pensions, banking and other enterprises.
“The scope and role of Actuaries have increased considerably over a period of time; there is an ever-increasing need of professionally trained actuaries. Actuarial skills can be used across all financial services and students may also look at the opportunities beyond insurance in the area of Banking, Investments, Data Science & analytics. As per Actuaries Act, 2006 an Actuary in India is a Fellow Member of IAI. Success in examinations conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India is the route to becoming a qualified actuary in India”, President of Institute of Actuaries of India Sunil Sharma
said in a statement.
