Registration For All India Bar Examination Begins, Check The Details

Application forms for AIBE 19 can be submitted at allindiabarexamination.com until October 25, 2024 and the examination is scheduled for November 24, 2024.

HYDERABAD: The Bar Council of India (BCI) has declared the schedule and commenced registrations for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE 19 or XIX). As per the schedule, the examination will be conducted on November 24, 2024.

Application forms for the AIBE 19 can be submitted at the official website, allindiabarexamination.com. The registration window opened on September 4, 2024 and will remain active until October 25, 2024, a notification issued by the Bar Council of India said.

The last date for payment of the exam fee is October 28, 2024 and the deadline for correcting the already-submitted application forms is October 30, 2024. Admit cards for the test will be released on November 24.

General instructions for candidates

  • Registration is mandatory for applying online.
  • Your mobile number and email ID must be unique and valid. They will be used for registration and all future communications.
  • Throughout the examination process, it is crucial that you keep your mobile number and email address active and accessible. There is no provision for changing these details once registered.
  • Only one registration is allowed per candidate
  • It is essential to provide accurate information during registration. Any false information found will result in the cancellation of your candidature.
  • In the case of 80% disability, 20 minutes extra will be allotted to the candidate.

To pass the All India Bar Examination, candidates belonging to general and OBC categories must secure at least 45% marks. For the candidates belonging to SC, ST and physically challenged categories, the minimum marks required to pass the bar examination is 40%.

Recently, the BCI issued the Certificate of Practice (COP) for the 18th All India Bar Examination (AIBE).

The COP is awarded to those who pass the bar examination. It is an essential component of legal practice, which enables advocates to practice, and represent clients in courts across India.
