Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice with important instructions for the registration in Classes IX, XI by newly affiliated schools of the country.
“As per the requests received from the schools, following facilities are extended to the schools last time keeping in view the problems faced by the students/schools because of COVID through their login account on CBSE website,” CBSE Controller of Examinations Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj wrote in a letter to Principal/ Head of schools across the country.
Instructions:
Newly affiliated schools are allowed to register students in classes IX and XI
Old affiliated schools are allowed to register their left out students in classes IX and XI
Old affiliated schools are allowed to fill LOC for their left out students in classes X and XII
Correction in registration data/LOC already filled in by the schools
CBSE has also asked schools, in a circular, to strictly comply with the following instructions:
Newly affiliated schools can register students in classes IX and XI without late fee
Rest of the schools will pay late fee as applicable
No further extension of the last date will be provided
Permission/approval from CBSE is mandatory in case the students are admitted after the last date as communicated earlier
Schools will register their own genuine/bonafide candidates
Schools should doubly check data before uploading as there will be no opportunity for correction in future
Noncompliance of the instructions will be strictly dealt with
