Registration Process For PG Admission In Odisha To Begin From March 10; Check The Details

Bhubaneswar: The process for postgraduate (PG) admission for the 2025-26 academic session will begin on Monday.

“The state government has taken a decision for early completion of the admission process for PG courses. Early completion of the admission process will lead to timely examination and publication of results,” the Higher Education department said

According to the official press release, the Common Application Form (CAF) will be available for admission into various PG courses from March 10. The Common PG Entrance Test (CPET), aimed at streamlining the admissions process, will be conducted from May 4 to 18.

“The CPET is scheduled to be held in the first week of May. The selection will be done on the basis of the students’ performance in the CPET.”

It further stated that classes for various PG courses at universities and colleges across the state for the 2025-26 academic year will commence by July 10.

“An applicant is required to apply online to appear for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET-2025). The registration will be done through an OTP (One Time Password) based process, In the Registration Page the Date of Birth (DOB) option will be added as another validation option along with the Name, Mobile Number and e-Mail ID,” said the website of Common PG Entrance Test (CPET-2025) & PG Admission.0

The provided mobile number and email id must be active for all types of communications regarding CPET-2025, it said.

Based on the entrance mark and career mark, the subject-wise state wide provisional rank will be announced. Based on their position and probability (can be assessed by visiting the last year cut-off mark), applicants will opt for their choice of preferences.

The selection of the applicants will be done through the centralized selection process, the website said.
