SAI International Students Empanelled As AIR ‘Child Artiste’

Bhubaneswar: SAI International School students, earn laurels for their school yet again! This time in the field of music. Three students of SAI International- Prisha Sanyal Aich, Prajjwal Sutar and Rishan Chakravarty, have made their school proud by being empanelled as Child Artiste by All India Radio (AIR) Cuttack.

The students had taken part in the Children Music Audition held in Cuttack in January. Rishan and Prisha were selected for violin and Prajjwal got selected for Tabla.

AIR organises Music audition every year to select aspiring artist from different music disciplines for their performance on radio. The artistes are are evaluated by a Committee of Experts for selection.

All three of them are active members of the Music Club of Sai International School. While Prisha, a Class -IX student, has been learning violin at the school for last eight years, Rishan, a student of Class- VIII, has been learning the instrument for last seven years and Prajjwal a student of ClassVI has been learning to play the instrument since last five years.

The Founder and Mentor of SAI International School, Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, congratulated the students. He said that music is the language of the soul and should be pursued with great sincerity.
