Savitribai Phule Pune University Releases Exam Dates For Performance Improvement & Backlog Exams

Pune: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) released the exam dates for the backlog, performance improvement, and external first-year examinations on Friday.

The exams for backlog, performance improvement and external first-year students for various subjects will be held from December 3 to December 16, from 10 am to 6 pm. However, only the students who had filled the application forms will be allowed to appear for the examination.

SPPU in a circular stated that the non-final year students of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) who either performed poorly or failed to pass the examination based on previous semesters score can now give performance improvement and backlog exams.

According to guidelines issued by UGC, the university had promoted students on the basis of internal and previous semester assignments. However, some students showed poor performance and failed.

The examination gives another opportunity to non-final year students to improve their scores.

Students with no facilities like mobile, laptop, computer, or tablet to appear for the exam online, shall report to their respective college or nearby colleges to take the exam online using the computer facility, Punekar News reported.
