Bhubaneswar: The State Bank of India (SBI) is offering internship opportunities through its Youth for India Fellowship Programme for 2025-26. This program focuses on driving social change by working on development projects and supporting rural communities across India.
Eligible candidates must have a graduation degree by October 1, 2025, and be aged between 21 and 32 years. The internship provides a ₹16,000 monthly stipend, along with project expenses, travel allowance, readjustment allowance, insurance, housing assistance, and a completion certificate.
According to the official notice, the internship is conducted in partnership with leading NGOs.
The SBI Youth for India Fellowship is open to Indian citizens, OCI holders, and Nepal/Bhutan citizens. Fellows live and work in rural communities to address key development challenges.
“The Fellowship builds young leaders who undergo a transformative journey by learning from the challenges of rural India. These leaders collaborate with NGO partners, local government, and the community to develop and sustain grassroots-level initiatives,” reads the official notice.

SBI Internship 2025: Eligibility Criteria

After filling out the registration form, candidates must complete an online assessment covering their perspectives, intentions for joining the fellowship, and worldview. Shortlisted candidates will then undergo an interview to evaluate their suitability. Final selection is based on the interview, online assessment, and overall fit for the program. Selected candidates will receive an offer letter to join the fellowship on the specified date.
