The South Central Railway has invited online applications for the posts of Apprentice under various trades like Carpenter, AC Mechanic, Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Painter, Diesel Mechanic etc. Eligible and interested candidates are to apply for the South Central Railway Recruitment 2019 online directly through the official website: scr.indianrailways.gov.in/. The last date for the candidates to apply for the recruitment drive is December 08, 2019.

Eligibility criteria
Candidates should have passed Class-10/SSC with at least 50% marks and ITI certificate holder in the relevant trade.
Age – The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on the cut-off date for receiving online application, i.e 08.12.19.
Application fee – Candidates will be required to pay the application fee of Rs 100. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/Women/PWD candidates.
Selection Process- The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both Class 10 and ITI exam.
