New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released an important notification for candidates appearing for the skill test for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2018 recruitment on December 18 and 19, reported Hindustan Times.
The official notice states that there will be three modules — Data Entry Speed Test (DEST), PowerPoint Presentation/Generation of Slides (MS PowerPoint), and Spread Sheet (MS Excel), with each module having a duration of 15 minutes.
The candidates will get a master text passage of about 2000 (two thousand) key depressions.
As per the instructions, candidates are allowed to only type a number of words equivalent to the passage, with spaced alphanumeric keys counting as one word, and the space bar will prevent the typing of additional words after reaching the word limit.
MS Office 2007 or later will be used to administer PowerPoint Presentation/Generation of Slides (MS PowerPoint) and Spread Sheet (MS Excel) modules one after another. The candidates have to submit a printout of their work with their names, roll numbers, and signatures on each page.
