Bhubaneswar: The State Council For Technical Education & Vocational Training, Odisha, on Thursday released the technical requirements candidates must fulfill to appear for the 5th semester examination.
It will be an online-proctored exam for those who have chosen to appear from home.
The council clarified that students will need to arrange technical requirements including latest version of search engines Google Chrome/Firefox/Microsoft Edge.
The notification states that the examination will only run on webcam and microphone-enabled desktop or laptop or Android-based smartphones.
The candidates will also be required to appear for a live mock test from their appearing device. The mock test is different from the one for semester 6.
It will be the responsibility of students to arrange appropriate internet connection, if appearing from home.
For students choosing to write their papers at examination centres, the responsibility to arrange technical assistance will be that of the centre/ institution.
