Students Who Skipped JEE Advanced Can Reappear In 2021: Joint Admission Board
New Delhi: The Joint Admission Board (JAB) on Wednesday decided that candidates who skipped the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced this year will be allowed to appear for the test next year. This decision was taken in an emergency meeting.
The official statement said, “To address the concerns of the affected candidates, while avoiding prejudice to other candidates, it has been decided to allow all the candidates, who had successfully registered to appear in JEE Advanced 2020 but were absent in the exam, to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2021, as a one-time measure.”
To provide equal opportunity to all the IIT aspirants, the JAB has also decided that these students will directly appear in JEE Advanced 2021 based on their successful registration to appear in JEE Advanced 2020.
