Bhubaneswar: As part of its ongoing reforms to improve the quality of education in government-run schools, Odisha government has decided to facilitate students avail transfer certificate (TC) and conduct certificate (CC) online from March 20.
Sources in School and Mass Education department said the online facilities will be available at Jan Seva Kendra in panchayats where the primary, upper primary, high school and higher secondary schools (Plus II Junior colleges) students will get their TC and conduct certificates.
The online programme has been jointly developed by School and Mass Education department in association with Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) and National Informatics Centre (NIC).
As decided, the online facility will be provided to the students from Class IX to XII in the first phase and for the remaining classes in subsequent phases.
The department has also decided to provide 18 services online very soon, sources added.
