Teachers Of University & College In Odisha To Attend Duty From This Date

Bhubaneswar: All teachers, officers and non-teaching employees of state universities and government and non-government colleges have been asked to attend office by observing COVID-19 preventive measures from June 17.

The Odisha Higher Education Department notified this on Friday with regards to the functioning of universities and colleges in the state.

On April 20, the department had allowed resumption of all public and private universities in the state during the second phase COVID-19 lockdown period. The Group-A (teaching and non-teaching) employees, which includes all faculty members, were asked to attend to their official duty on a daily basis then. However, attendance for Group B, Group C and Group D employees was restricted to only one-third of the total employees, with or without rotation basis.
