New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia launched the Delhi Teachers University on Friday, March 4.
“It gives me great pleasure to inaugurate the ‘Delhi Teachers University.’ This is Delhi’s first of its kind university that aims to prepare well-trained and highly qualified teachers,” Sisodia tweeted.

The new teachers’ university is being established in Bakkarwala village in West Delhi. The varsity will offer teacher education courses such as BA-BEd and BSc-BEd to prepare a new generation of teachers. This university students will join hands with Delhi government schools for the course duration and acquire hands-on experience focusing on research.
