Berhampur: Odisha MLA from Surada Assembly Constituency, Purna Chandra Swain appeared for the Offline Matric Examination that began on Friday, July 30.
The Surada Assembly Constituency legislator from the Ganjam district appeared for the exam at Surada Girls’ High School.
The Offline Matric Examination is being held for the students dissatisfied over marks awarded by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha. The marks were given via an alternative method after the annual examination was cancelled due to the raging second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
A total of 15,136 students taking the exam at 504 centres across the state adhering to COVID-19 guidelines.
