Hyderabad: Union Minister for Education Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ laid the foundation of TiHAN Autonomous Navigation Testbed at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad on Tuesday and hoped the institute will further excel with the new addition. The Minister said on Wednesday that TiHAN has been assigned a budget of 135 crore for five years.
“I laid the foundation stone of TiHAN Autonomous Navigation Testbed at @IITHyderabad. TiHAN is assigned a budget of 135 crores for the period of 5 years,” Pokhriyal tweeted.
He believed the new addition to the institute will take the current technology available in India for the autonomous navigation for terrestrial and aerial vehicles to the next level.
