New Delhi: Having chalked out a plan with the subject experts, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has opted for a reduction in the syllabi for all major subjects of the ICSE and ISC.
“Syllabus reduction has been done keeping in mind the linear progression across classes while ensuring that the core concepts related to the subject are retained,” the Chief Executive and Secretary of the Council, Gerry Arathoon said via circular on Friday.
The truncated syllabi for the academic year 2020-21 have already been uploaded on the CISCE website. Students can go to the website to see ICSE new syllabus for class IX and X and ISC syllabus for classes XI and XII on the website.
