New Delhi: Two years have passed after submitting applications but the Indian Railways’ group D job aspirants are still waiting for the exam dates. The exam in question is RRC group D exam or the RRB group D exam.
A total of 103769 vacancies in group D posts in Indian Railways are set to filled by the railway recruitment cells (RRCs) via a computer-based test, a physical efficiency test and document verification.
RRBs notified the exam in March 2019 along with the RRB NTPC exam.
The last update on RRC group D exam was available on October 16, 2020. The candidates were then communicated that the railway is in the process of hiring an external exam conducting agency to hold the exams.
So far, only the applicants’ candidatures have been confirmed. The application status of the exam was issued on July 24, 2019.
Candidates requested railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to release the RRB group D exam date on Monday, September 27.
