UGC-NET 2026 Re-Exam Scorecards For English, Commerce, Sociology Papers Released

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of the UGC NET June 2026 examination for English, Commerce, and Sociology papers.

Candidates can download their scorecards from the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

In total, 824 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), 11,610 for Assistant Professor eligibility, and 23,154 for PhD admissions, said an official notification.

The NTA conducted the re-examination for English, Commerce, and Sociology papers at 454 exam centres across 272 cities nationwide on September 9 and 10.

The re-exam was conducted after the three UGC NET papers were found laden with many factual, typographical, translation errors including misspelt names of prominent scholars and garbled book titles.

More than 1.96 lakh candidates, including 1,29,552 female candidates, 66,931 male candidates, and eight third-gender candidates, registered for the examination for these papers. Of these, 1,20,355 candidates appeared for the examinations.

The question papers, provisional answer keys, and recorded responses of the candidates concerned for the three subjects were released on September 10, and challenges were invited until September 13.

Step 2: Open the result or candidate activity section.

Step 3: Click the UGC NET June Re Exam 2026 Result link

Step 4: Enter the required login credentials.

Step 5: Submit the details.

Step 6: Check the qualifying status and marks.

Step 7: Download the scorecard.

Step 8: Save a copy of the result for reference.

The NTA stated that the challenges received were verified by experts and that the results were processed based on the answer keys finalised by them.
