New Delhi: With the National Testing Agency (NTA) releasing the final answer keys of the UGC-NET exams held this month, indications are that the results will be declared on the last date of the year.
NTA had earlier announced that the results could be tentatively declared on December 31, but some media reports have suggested that the results could even be declared before that.
Candidates are advised to visit the official website (ugcnet.nta.nic.in) for updates about the results.
The final answer keys of UGC-NET held from December 2-6 was released on December 24.
As many as 10 lakh candidates in 219 cities had appeared for the exam in 81 subjects and across 700 centres. UGC-NET is conducted for award of ‘Junior Reseach Fellowship’ and becoming eligible for recruitment as a teacher in colleges.
The exam is conducted twice a year — June and December.
