New Delhi: Applications have been invited for nominations for the 2021 UNESCO-Russia Mendeleev International Prize in the Basic Sciences, according to the Union Ministry of Education.
UNESCO Headquarters, Paris, has issued a notification with details of the procedure, which has been forwarded by the ministry.
According to the notification, the nominations should be forwarded to the Indian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO (INCCU) on or before February 28, 2021.
The Union Ministry of Education has asked for applications from all individuals working in the science field.
“An open invitation to all individuals working in the field of #science to apply for the #UNESCO-Russia Mendeleev International Prize in the Basic Sciences.
The theme for 2021 is #science and raising awareness of scientific value,” the education ministry tweeted.
