Bhubaneswar: In line with an Odisha government directive, all universities, degree colleges and technical institutions under the Higher Education Department reopened in the state on Monday for the commencement of physical classroom teaching for final year undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Besides, the physical mode of teaching and research activities of PhD, M.Phil and other research scholars have also started.
Also, all technical universities, engineering, professional colleges and diploma institutions under the Skill Development and Technical Education Department reopened for final year students of UG, PG, diploma and post-diploma programmes.
As per the government guidelines, there will be regular physical classes to complete the syllabi. The physical classroom teaching shall be recorded and shared with absentee students.
Instructions have been given to all educational institutions to strictly adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.
Earlier on January 8, schools for Classes X and XII as well as Plus II colleges for final year students were reopened.
