UP CM & His Ministers Visit IIM Lucknow To Take Leadership Lessons

Group Discussion Were Part Of 10-Hour Long Training Sessions

Lucknow: IIM Lucknow was witness to a different type of gathering on Sunday.  The entire Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath descended on the campus to take lessons on leadership development capacities from the B-school professors.

During the 10 hour-long sessions, which began at 8 am, the CM and his ministers were introduced to a host of modules to help them discover their shortcomings and solutions to work on them to accelerate the pace of development in the State through good governance.

The sessions were conducted by IIM Lucknow Director Archana Shukla, professor Pushpendra Priyadarshi, Nishant Uppal and professor Sanjay Singh.

The training was part of a leadership development programme called ‘Manthan’.

“Training programmes like these will prove beneficial for the state’s holistic development. Institutes like IIM Lucknow make major contributions towards achieving good governance and promoting accountability,” the CM said.

The ministes also went through group discussions on management and execution of government schemes.

The next two sessions will be held on September 15 and 22 where the state administration will undertake the training programme.
