Uttar Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Notification Released For 15,012 Vacancies; Check The Details

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released recruitment notifications for 15,012 teacher posts across the Basic and Secondary Education departments.

The total vacancies include 11,508 Assistant Teacher (Urban) posts, 897 Assistant Teacher posts in attached primary sections of non-government-aided secondary schools, and 2,607 Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts.

For 11,508 Assistant Teacher (Urban) and 897 Assistant Teacher posts, the registration process begins on September 16.

The last date to deposit the application fee is October 15, while candidates can make corrections to their applications until October 19. The examination will be held on December 3 and 4.

For the 2,607 Post Graduate Teacher posts, online registration and the application process will begin on September 18.

The last date to deposit the application fee is October 17, and candidates can make corrections to their applications until October 21. The examination will be held on December 15 and 16.

One-time registration mandatory

The UPESSC has introduced a One-Time Registration (OTR) system for candidates applying for the advertised posts. Candidates are required to complete the OTR process before applying for the respective posts.

How to apply for UP Teacher Recruitment 2026

Step 1: Visit the official website, upessc.up.gov.in

Step 2: Click on One Time Registration (OTR), provide primary details (Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Gender and verify contact details via OTP to generate your login credentials.

Step 3: Log in using your OTR credentials, click Super TET / Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2026 application link and choose target post (Urban Primary Assistant Teacher or Attached Primary Assistant Teacher).

Step 4: Fill in category, sub-category, and address details.

Step 5: Enter details for your Graduation, Teacher Training degree/diploma (BTC / D.El.Ed), and valid UPTET/CTET qualification details.

Step 5: Upload required documents like Passport Photo JPG/JPEG format (30 KB to 300 KB), signature JPG/JPEG format (10 KB to 200 KB, 140 × 110 pixels), certificates in PDF format (Category, PwD, or academic proof, if prompted).

Step 6: Pay applicable fee online (Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI):

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹1,000
• SC / ST: ₹500
• PwD: ₹300

Step 7: Verify details, submit the form, and download or print the confirmation page for reference.
