UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 Result Declared; Check The Details

UPPSC PCS Prelims Result 2024 is now available on the official website at uppsc.up.nic.in. and 15,066 candidates have qualified for the main exam.

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the results of the Combined State/Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024.

In total, 15,066 candidates have qualified for the main exam. Candidates can check their results on the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.

“Based on the preliminary examination, a total of 15,066 candidates have been declared successful for entry into the main examination against a total of 947 vacancies. The result of the examination is available for the candidates to view on the Commission’s website: https://uppsc.up.nic.in,” a notification   released by the UPPSC said.

Of the 5,76,154 candidates who registered for the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024, 2,43,111 appeared for the first session of the exam, while 2,41,359 wrote the papers in the second session.

“In connection with the said result, a separate press release will be issued regarding the programme of the main examination and the online application for the successful candidates. Information regarding the candidates’ scores/cut-off marks, etc., will be made available on the Commission’s website after the final selection results are declared. No representation under the Right to Information Act, 2005 will be entertained in this regard,” the notice said.

How to check UPPSC PCS Prelims Result 2024

Step 1: Visit the official website at uppsc.up.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads, “Click here to view List of Candidates who are not selected in P.C.S. Examination-2022, but Qualified for Interview in P.C.S – 2022 (In Merit Order).”

Step 3: A new page will open, check your result in the pdf file.

The UPPSC PCS Prelims answer key was released on December 26, and candidates were allowed to raise objections until December 31.

The prelims exam was held on December 22 in two shifts. Initially, the commission had planned a two-day exam with a normalisation process, but following protests by aspirants demanding a “one day, one exam” format, the exam was rescheduled.
