UPSC CMS 2020 Exam Schedule: Notification Release Date Postponed To July 29

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the release date of UPSC Combined Medical Services (CMS) 2020 examination notification. The notification, scheduled to be released on July 22, will now be released on July 29.

The notification will be available on the official site of UPSC at — upsc.gov.in.

The exam notification, which is out every year in April, has been delayed this year because of the prolonged coronavirus-induced lockdown.

Vacancy details and important dates will be known once the official notification is put up a week later. Till then, candidates can check eligibility and other details as given below:

Eligibility

A candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. examination. Someone who has appeared or is yet to appear for the final M.B.B.S. examination may also apply. The age limit of candidates is 32 years.

Application fees

Each candidate will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. It can be either deposited at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) by cash, through SBI net banking facility, by using Visa/Master/RuPay credit/debit card or through SBI internet banking. Female candidates, SC, ST and PwD candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
