UPSC CSE 2024 Personality Test Schedule Revised Due To Delhi Assembly Elections

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has rescheduled the personality test slated for February 5 to February 8.

The decision was taken after the notification for Delhi Assembly elections was issued.

“Due to notification of Delhi Assembly elections on 05.02.2025, the Personality Tests of Civil Services Exam 2024 scheduled on 05.02.2025 will now be held on Saturday, the 08 Feb 2025,” a notification issued by the UPSC said.

The UPSC CSE 2024 interviews or the personality tests began on January 7. As many as 2,845 candidates have been shortlisted for the interview.

The UPSC CSE exam is held in three phases – prelims, mains and interview.

The UPSC CSE 2024 prelims exam was conducted on June 16, while the CSE mains UPSC exam was held on September 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29. Candidates who have cleared the mains are called for an interview and personality test round. The personality test round will continue till April 17, 2025.

The UPSC has announced to fill more than 1,000 vacancies through the 2024 recruitment process.

Candidates who score above the cut-off marks will be recruited to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other central services and posts.

As many as 1,056 vacancies have been announced for CSE 2024 and 150 in IFoS.
