UPSC Exam 2020: Delhi Metro Services To Begin At 6 AM On Sunday

New Delhi: The Delhi metro services will begin at 6 am from terminal stations of all lines on Sunday, October 4 to help the students reach examination centres for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2020.

“To facilitate students for the UPSC examinations, Delhi Metro services will begin at 6 AM from terminal stations of all lines on 4th October,” the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said via a tweet on Saturday.

In the statement, the DMRC said on September 20 that the regular timings according to earlier time table with services starting at 8 am on Phase 3 sections (on Sundays) will be on.

It may be recalled that the metro, which had closed its services in March due to the outbreak of COVID-19, reopened with a series of measures. The measures such as closed token counters, limited entry and exit points, thermal scanners, and sanitisers among others were adopted to enable commuters to stick to COVID-19 protocols.
