UPSC Prelims 2022: Check Important Notice On Submitting Revised Choice Of Centre
New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an important notification for the candidates on the revised exam centre choice filling for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2022.
The UPSC is set to hold the Civil Services Preliminary Examination, including the Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination 2022, all over India on Sunday, June 5.
For the preliminary examination, the Commission will set up two additional centres at Dharamshala and Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.
“The Commission has now decided to give an opportunity to the applicants of these two examinations to submit their revised choice of Centre. The requests of the candidates for change in their Centres will be considered against the capacity intimated by the Centres for accommodating the candidates,” said the UPSC.
The UPSC will provide a window for submitting the revised choice of centres in two phases — March 3-7 (6 pm) and March 10-14 (6 pm) — on the UPSC’s website upsconline.nic.in.
According to the UPSC, the requests for change in the centres will be considered on the basis of the principle of “first- apply-first allot”.
