UPSC Releases Notification For CAPF 2025 Exam, Check The Details  

The recruitment drive aims to fill 375 vacancies in CAPF Assistant Commandant posts, last date for submitting applications is March 25

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has commenced the registration process for the recruitment of 357 Assistant Commandant (AC) posts in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).

Interested candidates can apply online on the official website, upsconline.nic.in, a notification issued by the UPSC said.

The last date for submitting the application forms for UPSC CAPF ACs 2025 is 6 pm on March 25.

The window for carrying out corrections in the filled-in application forms will remain open from March 26 to April 4.

Vacancy details

  • Border Security Force (BSF)- 24 posts
  • Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)- 204 posts
  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)- 92 posts
  • Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)- 4 posts
  • Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)- 33 posts

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification: A graduation degree from a recognised university is required.

Age limit: Age between 2025 years as of August 1, 2025. They must be born between August 2, 2000, and August 1, 2005. Relaxation in age limit is given according to the rules of the government for the reserved class.

How to apply for UPSC CAPF Exam 2025

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC, upsconline.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the one-time registration (OTR) on upsconline.nic.in

Step 3: Log in and submit the application form

Step 4: Upload the required documents

Step 5: Pay Rs 200 application fee (waived off for women, SC/ST applicants)

Step 6: Submit the form and save the confirmation page.

Step 7: Take a printout for reference

Applicants who have already done OTR for earlier UPSC exams need not register again.

  • Medical Standards Test
  • Interview/Personality Test

The UPSC has made it clear that candidates who are found ineligible at any point, prior to or subsequent to the selection tests, will have their applications rejected.
