New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination 2022 will close the application process at 6 pm on Tuesday, February 22.
Aspirants who are yet to apply may visit the UPSC’s official website to apply for the examination. The UPSC Civil Service (Preliminary) Exam 2022 will be conducted on Sunday, June 5.
According to the examination notification, the recruitment drive is aimed at filling up approximately 861 vacancies. However, the UPSC has recently said that the government will recruit 150 personnel in the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS), Group ‘A’ through the Civil Services Examination 2022.
Accordingly, the government (Department of Personnel & Training) released a notification on February 17, 2022, effecting inclusion of the IRMS, Group ‘A’ in the list of Services for recruitment via the Civil Services Examination 2022. So the expected number of vacancies to be filled via this exam is 1011.
