Uttarakhand Schools To Reopen For Classes X And XII

Dehradun: Uttarakhand government will reopen 3,791 secondary schools for Classes X and XII from November 2, reported New Indian Express.

Educational institutes will follow guidelines issued by states, which mentions that students will be taught in classes, but revision will happen online, and no homework will be given.

Citing changes in the teaching format due to the pandemic, Education Minister Arvind Pandey also said that all precautions were being observed while reopening schools, and that students will be allowed to attend classes only after “written permission from parents.”

Secretary of Education Department, R Meenakshi Sundaram added that only after reviewing “online studies and other educational activities” will the students be “gradually be brought into the mainstream.”
