The Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has invited application for admission to its Ph.D programme in management.
Graduates of the programme are placed in the best of organisations in teaching, research and consulting positions. A total of 378 doctoral students have graduated from IIM-A so far.
In a bulletin, the institute has said that advertisement for Ph. D. Programme will appear in leading newspapers during this month.

Candidates can apply for the following areas of specialization:

(2) Economics
(3) Finance & Accounting
(4) Food & Agri-business
(5) Human Resource Managemen
(6) Information Systems
(7) Innovation and Management in Education (8) Marketing
(9) Organizational Behaviour
(10) Production and Quantitative Method
(11) Public Systems
Eligibility:
Applicant must hold a Master’s or PG Diploma of 2 years or should hold a professional qualification like CA/ ICWA/CS with B.Com/Degree.
Selection process:
Candidates applying to the Ph. D. Programme are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) or a standard test in lieu of CAT. For NRIs and Foreign students, this standard test is the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).
Scores of CAT 2017, 2018 and 2019 are considered valid for application to the Ph. D. Programme in 2020.
Candidates will be shortlisted and called for an interview at Ahmedabad during March-April 2020 for final selection on the basis of their performance in CAT or the standard test in lieu of CAT, academic background,
and experience.
