With 22 Faculty Members Among Top 2% Scientists, Rourkela Institute Is Best Among NITs

Rourkela: NIT Rourkela has topped among NITs in the country vis-à-vis number of faculty members among the top 2% scientists.

According to the Stanford-Elsevier survey, NIT Rourkela has 22 faculty members among leading 2% scientists in the world for the year 2020.

Among the 22, S. Saha Ray is the highest ranked at No. 134 in India and 18,359 in the world.

NIT Tiruchirapalli has 14 faculty members in the elite list, while there are 13 from Maulana Azad National institute of Technology and 12 from Motilal Nehru National institute of Technology.
