XAT 2025 Exam Tomorrow, Tick The Checklist Before Going to Exam Centre
The examination will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm; the name on the photo identification document must match the one mentioned on the admit card.
HYDERABAD: The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2025 will be held on January 5. The duration of the test will be of three hours — from 2 pm to 5 pm.
The Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur conducts the examination for its full-time and virtual learning programmes.
The XAT 2025 admit card is already uploaded to the official website xatonline.in. Candidates appearing for the examination can download the XAT hall tickets from the official website.
Things required at exam centre
- Printed copy of the admit card
- An authorised photo ID card.
- The name on the photo identification document must match the one mentioned on the admit card.
- The exam duration has been revised to 180 minutes from the previous 210 minutes. It consists of two parts —part 1 is aptitude test (170 minutes) and part 2 is general knowledge (10 minutes).
The candidates can choose any section to start with. In the unlikely case of a technical glitch the candidate will be shifted to another terminal without losing time, a statement on the official website said.
XAT 2025 marking scheme
- Each question carries 1 mark, with 95 questions expected.
- 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- Penalty for skipping questions
- You can skip up to 8 questions without penalty.
- For each question skipped after the 8th one, a penalty of 0.1 marks per question will be applied.
- The GK section has no negative marking. It will not contribute to the overall percentile or cutoff score but will be considered in the selection process.
On-screen scientific calculator is allowed in XAT 2025. The exam interface will provide an option to access the calculator during the test.
XAT 2025 has added 34 cities to its list of examination centres. Those are Ajmer, Aligarh, Anantapur, Arrah, Baddi, Balasore, Bareilly, Bhagalpur, Bikaner, Bilaspur, Chikkaballapur, Darbhanga, Davanagere, Dhenkanal, Haldwani, Hazaribagh, Hisar, Jodhpur, Kalaburagi (Gulbarga), Kalyani, Karimnagar, Kolhapur, Kurukshetra, Mehsana, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Muzaffarpur, Nanded, Patiala, Salem, Shimla, Sikar, Ujjain and Vellore.
