New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed the schools affiliated to it to introduce art-based education for classes I – X.
Driven with a motive to educate the students about the culture and diversity of the country, the project will be considered for internal evaluation for the students.
While the board has made it mandatory for the students to take at least one art-integrated project per subject, the project should also carry any art form of the state/UT under Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Programme, a notice on CBSE website said.
Meanwhile, Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ took to twitter and made an announcement in this regard.
Notably, the schools will upload these projects in the AIL and AE portal of the board, following which they will be able to download the admit cards for classes X and XII, the notification added.
