Cuttack: The Odisha Police has invited applications from eligible men to fill in 231 posts of drivers in Police Motor Transport. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website: www.odishapolice.gov.in, http://oprecruitment.in . The application process starts from today, March 7, 2020 and the last date for applying is March 28, 2020. Tentative date of physical test is March 30, 2020.
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have passed Class-10 or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Must know how to speak, read and write Odia.
- Must have passed Odia as a subject in High School exams or M E equivalent exam conducted by concerned department.
- Must have a valid driving license of heavy/light motor vehicle
Application fee: Rs150/- for UR candidates. For candidates belonging to other categories, the application fee is Rs 30/-.
Age Limit: Candidate must be between 18-23 years as on January 1, 2020. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST and ex-servicemen. Candidates are advised to check the official notification for detailed information.
Selection Process
For selection, candidates will have to go through physical fitness test, medical test, written test.
