ICAI Reschedules CA Exams In View Of LS Polls; Check The Revised Dates

New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has rescheduled the examination for inter and final-year students to avoid any clash with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections dates.

The exams, originally scheduled for May, will now take place on revised dates.

The ICAI has, however, clarified that there will be no change in the examination schedule if any of the exam day is declared a public holiday by the central government or any state government/local authority.

The revised examination dates are as follows:

  • Intermediate course exam for Group 1: May 3, 5, and 9 which previously was May 3, 5, and 7.
  • Intermediate course exam for Group 2: May 11, 15, and 17 which previously was May 9, 11, and 13.
  • Final exams for Group 1: May 2, 4, and 8 which previously was May 2, 4, and 6.
  • Final exams for Group 2: May 10, 14, and 16 which previously was May 8, 10, and 12.

Candidates have been advised to keep checking the ICAI website for updates.
