New Delhi: A research and development (R&D) fair will be organised by 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in November, Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Friday.
The announcement came following a virtual meeting between Pradhan and IIT officials. The fair will be conducted as part of the celebration of ‘Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to mark 75 years of India’s independence.
“Joined a discussion on the R&D fair by the IITs to be held in November, 2021 to celebrate #AmrutMahotsav and also create an enabling environment for cutting-edge research as envisaged in the NEP,” tweeted Pradhan.
