Bhubaneswar: About 3,000 students from more than 300 colleges took part in IIT-Bhubaneswar’s Wissenaire 2021 for a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh. IIT-Bhubaneswar organised Wissenaire 2021, the annual techno-management fest, between April 1 and 4.
CV Raman Global University, Bhubaneswar; Utkal University, Bhubaneswar; Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar; Andhra University, Visakhapatnam; Raajdhani Engineering College, Bhubaneswar; Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology (NMIET), Pune; and Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), Bhubaneswar are the colleges that participated in the Wissenaire 2021.
Former DRDO DG and Department of Defence R&D Secretary, VK Aatre was the chief guest on the occasion. Curtains were drawn after comedian Karunesh Talwar’s stand-up act.
“Conducting the fest in online mode made us explore new methods, competitions, workshops, events and talks. We got to see new dimensions of the problems that could come up,” third-year Metallurgy student and the events and management core head of Wissenaire 2021, Chaitra Vardhan was quoted as saying by ABP Education.
