76.22% Students Pass MPBSE Class 10 Board Exam; Class 12 Exam Records 74.48% Pass Rate
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announces that board exams will now be held twice a year from 2025–26 academic year
NEW DELHI: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has declared the Class 10 and Class 12 board results for 2025 on May 6.
In Class 10 exam, 76.22% students became successful, the highest in 15 years, while the Class 12 exam recorded a pass percentage of 74.48.
In a significant move aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that Class 10 and 12 board exams will be conducted twice a year, beginning 2025–26 academic session. The announcement was made during the media conference held to declare the results.
More than 18 lakh students registered for the exams this year. Students can check results on the official websites mpresults.nic.in or mpbse.nic.in.
To view scorecards, students need to log in using their roll number and application number as mentioned on their admit cards.
The Class 12 exam was conducted from February 25 to March 25, while the Class 10 exam was held from February 27 to March 19.
How to check results
Step 1: Visit the official website of MP results, mpresults.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on MP Board Result 2025 for Class 10 or Class 12 link available on the home page.
Step 3: Enter details to login and submit.
Step 4: Check your result displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download and taker a printout for reference.
The other ways to check the results are DigiLocker or SMS (send MPBSE10/MPBSE12 ROLLNUMBER to 56263)
The provisional marksheets available online will include subject-wise scores. Students can collect their original marksheets from their respective schools.
In a significant trend, government schools outperformed private institutions this year, reflecting an upward shift in the quality of public education.
Pragya Jaiswal scored a perfect 500 out of 500 in the class 10 examination,
Narsinghpur took the lead among districts this year, achieving the highest combined results across both Class 10 and 12.
Re-evaluation and supplementary exams
Students who are not satisfied with their scores can apply for re-evaluation once the forms are available on the MPBSE website. Those who did not pass the exams will be eligible to appear in the supplementary exams.
The schedule for compartment exams will be announced soon and results will be declared separately.
