New Delhi: Returning in a revamped and digital format, registrations are now open for the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz (SINMQ), beginning from November 20. The semi-finals will be on December 7 and finals on December 9, reported Business World Education.

Conducted since 2008 as part of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week, the quiz will test competitors on topics like Alfred Nobel, Nobel Laureates and the Nobel Prize, along with general questions based on Swedish history, industries, innovations, society and culture.
Due to the COVID pandemic, the quiz, curated by quiz master Raj Dam, will now be held between individual contestants, rather than the previous system of three-member college teams.
A prize of Rs 1,00,000 will be awarded to the first prize winner. Apart from certificates to the finalists, the top 100 students will also receive prizes and exclusive merchandise.
