New Delhi: A total of 7,586 candidates took the National Talent Search Stage-II Examination (NTSE) 2020 on Sunday.
The NTSE was held at 58 centres spread over 40 cities including Srinagar, Kolkata, Kavaratti, Chennai, Port Blair, Gangtok and many other places, reported news agency ANI.
“As many as 7586 candidates appeared in the examination for the selection of 2000 talented students to be awarded scholarships for pursuing higher education,” the Ministry of Education said.
The test was organised in cooperation with the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan (KVS) and State Education Departments.
The COVID-19 safety protocols were strictly followed during the examination.
