NEW DELHI: The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026 administration has announced that the window to edit the application form submitted by the registered candidates will remain open from October 14 (9 am) to October 16 (9 am).
The two-day period will allow applicants to review and correct errors in their submitted forms before the registration process concludes, said an official notification.
The XAT 2026 registration process is currently underway on the official website, xatonline.in.
For clarification on XLRI programme selections or application-related queries, candidates can reach out to the Admissions Office via email at [email protected] or through phone numbers 0657-665-3203/04/05, the exam authority has clarified.
What details can be edited in XAT 2026 application?
During the 48-hour window, registered candidates can modify the details such as academic qualifications, work experience, and test city preferences.
However, the email ID and mobile number fields will remain non-editable, as they are used for all official correspondence.
The XAT office has advised the applicants to verify all information carefully and complete the necessary changes within the given timeframe to avoid technical or last-minute issues.
Candidates who have not yet completed their registration can do so before the deadline. The authority has stated that early registration provides candidates not only with sufficient time to review their details but also access to official XAT mock tests, which help familiarise applicants with the exam format and interface.
The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted annually by XLRI Jamshedpur on behalf of the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI). The exam has been held for over 75 years and serves as a common admission test for over 250 management institutes across India offering MBA and PGDM programmes.
