NEW DELHI: The Central government has decided to set up 100 Sainik Schools across the country in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode, A PTI report quoted Union Home Minister Amit Shah as saying.

Speaking via video conference at the inauguration function of Shri Motibhai R Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School (MRCSSS) and Sagar Organic Plant, Shah said these schools will open the path for children from several districts of Gujarat to serve in the armed forces.

The Shri Motibhai R Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School (MRCSSS) has been built at a cost of Rs 50 crore and is equipped with facilities such as smart classrooms, hostels, a library and a canteen, an official release said.

“The Centre has decided to establish 100 new Sainik Schools across the country under the PPP model. Among these, Motibhai Chaudhary Sainik School will certainly become a symbol of pride for Mehsana,” the release quoted Shah as saying.

He added Sagar Organic Plant is very important to ensure reliable organic products under the Amul brand reach across the country and the world, and all farmers engaged in organic farming receive fair profits.
