The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) has announced the admission schedule to its flagship two-year PG Diploma Programme in Rural Management for the year 2020.
The last date to apply for the course is January 10, 2020. The exam schedule and commencement of the session will be announced shortly.
IRMA is the brainchild of the late Verghese Kurien, who was widely acclaimed as the father of the white revolution in India.
Selection process:
Candidates of the general category who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2019/XAT 2020 are eligible to be shortlisted.
Academic Excellence:
Graduation from top universities and colleges
Work Experience in social Impact, community development, livelihoods, policy and advocacy, agriculture and allied sectors
Graduation in social sciences, development studies, agriculture and allied sciences.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for selection process at the institute where they will have to take the IRMA Social Awareness Test 2020 (IRMASAT 2020), Group Activity and Personal Interview.
Course recognition:
The PGDRM is recognized as equivalent to the master’s degree in rural management by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The participants of this programme are highly valued in local, national and international cooperatives, NGOs, development organisations, and funding agencies. All participants are suitably placed in different organisations through our Campus Placement programme, the institute said in a statement.
It said that special consideration will be given to women applicants and candidates with social purpose background in its ongoing admission process for the year 2020.
