New Delhi: The last date for submission of online applications for Pragati and Saksham scholarships has been extended by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to December 31, reported NDTV.
AICTE has also extended the last date for the first-level verification of applications by AICTE-approved institutions, including resubmission of faulty applications till January 15, and the second-level verification by respective nodal officers till January 31.
Women students studying in the first year or semester of a technical degree programme (2020-21 batch) can apply for the AICTE Pragati scholarship scheme, while the AICTE Saksham scholarship is meant for differently-abled students pursuing a technical diploma or degree courses in AICTE-approved institutions.
AICTE later tweeted about the extension, stating that the registration for AICTE-Pragati and AICTE-Saksham scholarships has been extended till December 31, 2020.
