AICTE Seeks Suggestions From Edu Institutes To Help Post-COVID Economic Growth

New Delhi: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has asked education institutes across the country to suggest measures to revive the post-coronavirus economy.

Following the guidelines from the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry, an AICTE circular asked the institutes to first study the best work done at the village level to combat COVID-19 and accordingly put forward their suggestions at suggestion@aicte-india.org by May 15.

However, AICTE has also given three suggestions for the students and teachers to carry their research work. This includes studying the measures taken by the government to boost the economy post the H1N1 pandemic. The two other suggestions involve studying the rural model and the challenges faced by them amid the COVDI-19 outbreak.

Suggestions to accelerate sectors including agriculture, technology, IT, medicine, online and digital education methodology, e-business, etc. have also been invited by the AICTE.
