All Delhi Schools To Be Closed Due To Rising COVID-19 Cases

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted on Friday evening that all Delhi schools, both government and private, would be closed for classes till further notice due to rising Covid-19 cases.

Various states have been announcing a shutdown of physical classes over the recent spike in Covid-19 cases across the country.

 

The capital recorded the highest one-day Covid-19 spike on Thursday with over 7500 new cases. For two days straight Delhi reported over 5000 new Covid-19 cases. Currently, the case count in the national capital stands at 6,98,005.

On Tuesday, Delhi imposed a 10 pm to 5 am night curfew till April 30 to tackle the steep rise in coronavirus cases.

Delhi schools
