Bhubaneswar: The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) for 2021 will be held on January 10, 2021, informed Commander Pritika Sharma, Officiating Principal of Sainik School Bhubaneswar.
According to Sharma, the online application process which was scheduled to close on November 19 will now continue till December 3. The application process can be completed online on https://aissee.nta.nic.in.
For admission to class VI, the candidates should have been born between April 1, 2009, and March 31, 2011.
Sainik School Bhubaneswar and Sainik School Sambalpur will admit students in Class VI only for the academic year 2021-22.
There are a total of 55 vacancies for boys and 10 vacancies for girls in Bhubaneswar Sainik School whereas 90 vacancies for boys and 10 vacancies for girls in the new Sainik School in Sambalpur. The medium of examination for Class VI will be English, Hindi, and regional language (Odia).
Odisha-domiciled candidates whose parents’ annual income is up to Rs 3 lakh would get a full scholarship at par with the tuition fee. In addition, they will also be entitled to the central assistance and subsidy (financial assistance) from the Ministry of Defence.
